I'm gonna be going to CDL school in 1-2 months and I just got a speeding ticket at work yesterday going 10 over in a construction zone. Will this affect me going to school or getting a job afterwards? I'm planning on just paying the fine as soon as I am able to, just to get it taken care of right away.

Best to talk to a lawyer and either get the ticket dismissed or reduced.
USA Truck will hire you. If you have any doubts, give them a call.
Where are you located; state and nearest city/town?

USA Truck may not hire in your area. Plenty others will though, so don't worry about that.
Being in the construction zone is the real problem; try to get the ticket dismissed.
Do some "Quick Apps" off some trucking company websites so a recruiter can contact you. This way you can start learning the companies that will hire you.
Here's a good one : www.drive4freymiller.com & click on "Recent Graduates" then submit the Quick App.
We can give you more company names if you want them.

Just emailed a couple different lawyers to see if they can help it get dismissed.
    Thank you!

Good. Even though you don't yet have a cdl you can start protecting it right now. Always fight any moving violation.

Without a CDL, traffic school may be an option.

None of the answers above have fully answered the question. @Chinatown was correct about USA Truck as a specific carrier. I am taking it a step further and saying even if convicted there should be no bad problems later on. The comments made are about how to handle the case. There is a better than 50% chance this ticket will stand in court. How many cases are on this person 3-year driving history? The best answer I can come up with is this charge should not have an effect. However, speeding in a construction zone might be an issue. I advise the OP to carry on, decide on how best to handle this ticket and STOP SPEEDING. I tell everybody when these topics come up. Once you get a CDL those tables in 383.51 become effective.

Yes, the 10 mph over isn't the problem, but the construction zone might be a problem for some companies. Plenty of companies are going to offer him a job though, so he's good to go.
