2018 vs 2019 vnl 670 differences

Conway Volvo in Rochester, NY specced me a brandnew Volvo 860 fully loaded, (cummins x15 500hp, 13 speed manual, full locking merritor 40k lb axles and a few other bells and whistles. They told me $154k

 

To bad it's the Red motor

 

I wanted a red motor. This green motor put me through hell and its jake breaks suck donkey butt.

 

Did you get the E or the P series?

I had a 565/2050 Performance series for about 2 months and dumped it.

Honestly the Volvo 455XE pulled almost as good, not a big difference.... Although the fuel expense difference was ridiculously huge.

I think the X15E Efficiency series 500/1850 @1000rpm would definitely be the way to go and Downspeed that thing with 2.85s and that 13spd manual.

Much better low RPM pulling power..

Yeah I opted in my spec sheet for a e series.I will take a look at those axle ratios though because my current truck has 342 rears and a 13 speed and 70 miles per hour is 1500 RPMs

 

That should be nice fuel economy motor there. And good low end pulling too.
If you didn't go 2.85, the 3.08s are a good mix , just a little high RPM for that motor efficiency range on the highway above 62 mph
