I Been struggling emotionally the last couple days. These customers are just crazy.

Finally got loaded and outa there after 6 hours. Headed couple hundred miles back over to chi town in the morning. I started early this morning so ran outa hours in Plymouth, IN. 9862A45F-D0FF-4D06-9AD3-697AF8F3904A.jpeg This was after they would not let me leave because I was 900 lbs to light. Ummmm might of been all the ice and snow that has melted off my truck over the last 6 hours? Ya think? Broker was cool about the detention though.
CF5CEEF0-C581-46AA-871D-60AFF6DD55CD.jpeg I’ll be all better here in about an hour.

Reload for Texas after I kick this off in the morning.

Also that guy with the blue Pete was loading a 2 stopper headed south. Alberta plates? I thought those guys could only pull in or out of the country? Or can they bounce around down here?

The brokers and shippers were so butt hurt last year they are trying to make up before it happens again. This is why I lean to only having a few direct customers and then playing the market the other half the year. Its either really bad or really good. I have no problem bending a broker over, or dropping them when my customers call. I won't drop a load. I never had a broker call and ask how my cash flow was when I was off hurt.

    Problem is it’s EVERYBODY!!!

Direct and brokered and dispatch and the guy in front of me and the guy behind me and...........

That usually means I got to look in the mirror to find the real problem?
