If he is a US citizen working for a Canadian carrier he is good, or if he has a US citizen as a team partner he is good. If he is a US citizen working for a Canadian carrier then he cannot pickup and deliver in Canada but is free to move freight interstate. I have known a few "mixed marriage" couples that take advantage of the rules and can truck throughout the US and Canada. Also the company may be one with offices in both countries and move power back and forth like Waggoners do with units plated in many jurisdictions.

Yes, but stupid has became the norm, just had this conv with a buddy that does high end construction. I'm wood butcher, he is a Craftsman.
