Get on your phone and search for HazMat practice test. Just take it a few times until you pass. When I went to the DMV it was pretty much the same questions. I hate to admit it but I never study for my hazmat I just went in and took the test and passed it. Not the professional way to do it, but it was quick.
didn't matter anyway when I started hauling fuel tankers the company put me through all their training so at the end of the day I didn't really get away with anything.

you must do backround check at least a few weeks before.
Cant take the test without the backround check paperwork.
good for only 5 years,so it usually expires in the middle of your normal license,so in essence,it expires probably in 2-4 years and you pay and take test again..ugh -
Choose Classic tests. Pick Test #1. Don't answer any question. Click "Score my test". This will give a score of zero and show you the correct answer for each question. Now read the text for each question, look to see if correct answer is A, B, C, D. Then READ ONLY THE CORRECT ANSWER. DO NOT READ ANY IN CORRECT ANSWER. Do this for ever question on every HazMat test. Your goal is to read every question (not memorize it) and READ ONLY THE CORRECT ANSWER for that question (not memorize it). On test day read each question & look for the familiar answer.
Do not analyze & ponder, and see the 8 different ways some answer MIGHT apply in real life. This is a multiple-choice test. IT IS NOT REAL LIFE. The HazMat test DOES NOT teach you how to haul HazMat. This technique will work if you follow it. This technique will not teach you Hazmat material. You are taking a pass/fail test. Pass the test then learn the skill.FourWheeln and PE_T Thank this. -
it's a "given", that with all state budgets bursting at the seams, and the NEED for more drivers, the states WILL RAISE all prices on nearly all CDL related things..
bottom line, "they know you need it, so YOU WILL PAY IT"...!!
i am so glad i have paid all i have to pay, and no more.........and calling it quits, after 48 years.......
this industry just IS NOT WORTH, the time, effort and monies spent, to keep a CDL.... -
My current hazmat certification runs out in 2022.
I'm renewing in 2019,and they want me to redo everything, because it cant expire in the middle of a license.
I could renew now,but same stuff would happen again.
