Oh ok. I gotcha. No butter on my steak, especially not that stuff.
@Hurricane69 I know you're a machine man. One of the other things I bought at the auction today was this old Cincinnati grinder. I only really bought it for the heavy ### pedestal it was mounted on to mount my 3/4 hp single phase 8" grinder on. I was told this one didnt work.
Well I got it home and got to tinkering. I noticed it had a regular 220 plug on it. Dug around and found it said 1hp, but it didn't say if it was 3 phase or what. The plug threw me off.
So I fixed the broken wire inside, plugged it in and that dam 50 year old grinder came to life! I stuck a piece of 1/2" tool steel I had laying around trying to bog it down, it never even phased it. It's a 10" and Works awesome. My question is, I'm surprised it's not 3 phase, so was there very many single phase motors made for that sort of industrial stuff? Everything I always see is almost always 3 phase . This thing is massive. I'm guessing around 300lbs![]()

That's my wife's favourite US restaurant. She's asked me in the past if we could drive down to Grand Forks, ND just to eat there. Their buns and cinnamon butter are to die for.Feedman, 1951 ford, 4mer trucker and 16 others Thank this.
