I'm asking because I just don't know...
Is it possible to run 8-10 Loads a week (5.5 days) for a southeast regional company driver?
Thank you.

Drop and hook short miles? Why not
-
Should have specified...
Average would be 2400 miles a week. -
If you want the miles, you probably want fewer loads. You have to think 8-10 pickups and drops for free and that usually takes an hour or 2. So you will be looking at 14 hours a day. So is it possible? Yes. Is it worth it? No.localguy65 Thanks this.

What you just described is pure hell.
That's a local driver job that gets paid by
The mile.
And gets screwed out of all the wait time.
thats working 12 hours a day and getting paid
For 7. -
No. You dont want or need 2400 miles in 200 mile bits you want it ideally ALL at once. You then understand how nice it is to have 5 or 6 days to set your own routine. Load one time on monday and roll the whole week.

This is a regional job....is that even possible?

That's exactly what I thought, you have to work the full 14-hour day
