Lucky you weren’t in my area of Montana. -21 without the windchill yesterday, and -17 this morning. Truck was gelled up all yesterday, and until noon today. Can not wait for spring.

Yes. The local PFJ switched to summer fuel last week which I didn’t know until I was already screwed. I even had a bottle of anti gel in it. Not fun changing filters, and bleeding air out of fuel lines in negative temps. Times like those make being an O/O tough.

Well, if any of you cats are going to be running through Deadman, Lookout or 4th of July tomorrow you'll know I'm around. Went through the Pendelton scales early this morning and they were doing chain checks. Said they had a big one coming tonight and tomorrow. Had a bit of a headache with my reload today and after I finally got loaded and chained, I looked in on the weather and it didn't look to good. Serves me right for using 18' of empty deck space to snatch a bucket headed to Bozeman. Made that deal a couple days ago, seemed like easy money at the time but now, not so much. Well, that's what a healthy case of greed will get you. Hope I can outrun it, but it seems unlikely. Probably end up at the Petro in Spokane or the Loves in Post Falls until early May, if past experience is any indication.

    More later...

Started snowing from Chehalis south on I-5 into the Williamette Valley. Pretty good squalls, however, at 35 nothing was sticking.

I broke out of it about 100 miles west of Spokane, but its queuing up again here in Idaho. Tonight and tomorrow morning look pretty bleak across 4th an Lookout. Wasn't going to clear them both so I laid up at the Loves in Post Falls. 435 very tough miles today.
