    Hey guys & gals

    Im looking at moving to Montana. I was wondering if the state has their own specific authorities that I need to obtain? Or am I good to go with just having the federal authorities?

    Some states require intra-state authority; not sure about MT, but the state website should provide the answer.

    Thanks for link, I just checked it out and it doesnt have Montana or California listed for online authorities.

    For example I know California requires the following permits / authorities

    Application for Motor Carrier Permit - MC 706 M
    DMV Employer pull program
    CHP MOTOR CARRIER Profile

    Ah.
    Isn't it fun appeasing all the different government regulations and requirements?

    An ex-dot officer turned produce shipping supervisor once told me this country is going to regulate itself right out of business someday....
