    A thousand bucks (per my boss). I'm such a selfish guy...replacing my destructive 12-volt cooler with another one and destroying her truck...

    Jesse, the service writer, explained to me that the batteries and everything else tested out fine, so it had to be my 12-volt cooler again. I guess that 20 amp fuse is...err...well he can't say HOW, but...it had to be the cooler..........

    To be fair, those coolers are suspected fairly often of causing problems, and as the electrical systems get more complex as in multiplexing, it may cause a resurgence in the blaming. Cascadias have unexplained problems electrical issues from time to time, and have addressed it by removing the battery disconnect in the newer trucks. It was too easy to reset everything by shutting off the power, I guess.

    Check your own connections, sometimes that's the best way, but they don't want you doing anything like that, either. Visually inspect and inform them, I guess, good luck with it.

    So a 12 volt device, plugged into a 12 volt socket provided by the manufacturer for you to run a 12 volt device, is the cause. Rrriiight.
    Need to find a more knowledgeable service person.
