You in Albany? I delivered at 1300 and was told no loads.
What way do you come down from Augusta? The two times I've come down here from that direction I've come down GA 44 to Eatonton and then US129 to Macon and getting on 75 from rhere. My GPS has an anxiety attack when I go through Eatonton, though. Can't really say I like that route but it looks better in the atlas than the way my GPS wants to bring me.

I left Albany about 0930 this morning, and was #5 on the list. Nothing when I delivered yesterday but he got me out with a load to Trenton today. Looked like a lot of loaded trailers when I got under mine. You still there?
On that route, I’m originally from just S of Macon so I know the area well. It’s the way I would run it too. Oh yeah, my gps freaks out in Eatonton too. Lolz,,,, -
Yeah I'm still here . Was #5 on the list at 1300. Been in the terminal for a couple of hours doing laundry so unless something came in after I went inside, I don't expect to get a load until morning. I'm almost willing to bet it will be Cedar Springs. I only remember ever getting one load OUT of the brewery out of all the times I've been down here. I bring beer and bottles in, then get sent to GP and haul paper out.

Ive never understood Albany. You bring a load into that brewery and there are allllllllllllllllllll those Millis trailers there. But very seldom do you get there and not have to wait. I dont get that place unless its mostly regional freight
-
I think that's what it is.
But #### I love this Ozone Lounge place next door. A giant pitcher of Amber Bock for $7? Hell yes. -
Georgia goes by the federal bridge law, you can go all the way back.Suspect Zero and Farmer54 Thank this.

I’m about half and half on beer vs paper loads there. And I think you’re right about mostly regional runs.

Word to the wise, watch yourself there. That's an extremely economically repressed area. Lots of derelicts and drugs in that place, and bar fights at the drop of a hat. I've seen it happening right in front of me. Watch your 6 man. And just a suggestion, start with a bottle and then get a pitcher. Keep that empty bottle handy, you might need it.Last edited: Mar 8, 2019

@Gremlin304 , listen to this man. He knows bars.

I’m lucky in that if I get caught without a load in Albany (pronounced “All Benny”), my motorcycle racing mentor lives there. He comes to the terminal to pick me up and we go bar hopping.Steelersjunkie Thanks this. -
I said I wasn't gonna post anymore, and I won't. But that place concerns me. Just looking out for my people. Might be fine if you walk in there at six. Walking in at twelve after a long day when you're tired and short on awareness and reaction time is a different story. Just keepin' it real. Sadly that place is considered to be the "best in the area". Christ. I'd hate to see the worst. I'd be in prison, guaranteed.
