I'm an advocate for the "Golden Rule" method of administering justice...that which you have done unto others, is done unto you. Stab someone to death? Your death is by stabbing. Murder someone with a gun? Death by firing sqaud. Leave your kid to bake in a hot car? You get locked in a car on a hot & sunny summer day. If the person wishes to argue "cruel and unusual punishment", well it's exactly the same cruel and unusual thing you did to your victim...and they (most likely) DIDN'T deserve it. You do. If you didn't want to be subjected to that sort of treatment, you shouldn't have perpetrated it on others.
I remember when this happen... I had just gone OTR... My wife found it while I was on the road... She said I wasnt allowed to get into confrontations on the road. So glad they nailed his ### to the wall...

Yeah his hell raising days are over ...he will be 63 at least before he gets out . Lots of old trucking money in Omaha and I'd bet that had some influence on the out come .
