Before the elog you could have bought a similar truck for 10 to 15. If I was going that route I would prefer to buy a 5,000 dollar bucket and spend 45 grand to build what I want. You’ll have something you trust a lot more.

 

I never had a single problem buying old equipment with my bank. But anymore truckpaper is just for looking. Stupid prices on everything.

 

Late 80’s and up parts are readily available. Only ones i’d be leary about parts would be a Ford or a Marmon. Marmon used a lot of off the shelf parts, but Ford had a heap of dealer only parts.

 

You see other prices? 140k on a 3 year old pete glider and a few 100k miles. I dont care how shinny it is. Its not worth that.

Trucks? I know most wont loan on a semi over five years old. Mine was 8 and they didn’t want to do that.

 

I can buy a brand spanking new w9 4 axles for 199
