    Same price? I would think a million mile engine is called that for a reason.

    I'd feel safer with the columbia. I have a feeling that Pete is going to bleed you quickly and often.

    Well to put it simply I Dead headed from Donora PA Friday to be home with the family for the weekend. The carrier I am leased on with offered to pay for my fuel to deadhead back to MI ..... I am still sitting waiting for a load as of right now... I may not even see a load again until tomorrow A.M. If that helps you ... It's slow right now. And I am kicking myself in the arse for going off what the carrier told me ... "We can keep your truck moving" This sure ain't moving by any means....

    Someone did not read the whole thread..... I bought a 2002 Freightliner Classic XL Detroit Series 60 470/500 . I love the truck but it's slow right now out here.. Thanks for the reply..

    I have about 40Grand to spend, and will be looking for either a pete or a kw in the next few months. any suggestion on where to find good deals, keep in mind that about 10G of this will have to go towards start up fees, ins, base plate, etc, etc, etc

    Fuel prices will go back up, I'm pretty certain. I'd be wanting the 10spd, unless you have a contract for steady heavy hauling. And figure in a rebuild in the near future.
    ...and I'd miss the 13. Nothing like 'em.

    I'll pm you my contact information. Do you prefer ISX or Cat cause I know where a 01 379 is w/ ISX 475, 3.55 rears, 70 ultra dbl bunk is. Out the door # 29K sounds reasonable knowing this dealer.
