Now I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night, but still scavenging parts from that salvage 2013 I bought 4 years ago. Looks like i took that old one off at the right time.

Man Im gettin used to these weekends at home lol.
Had a company refuse to unload me Friday @ 3:55pm because they "close" at 4. The forklift Mexicans were still hard at work in the yard, but the dickbag office prick didn't want to deal with it I guess. So I had to hold it over the weekend. -
...And here I go wanting to buy a 68 Nova.... this dang forum wants me to play with my money, hahahaha~!
I don't know much about KW's..but if and when I buy, I'm going 'vintage' Pete. -
I’m all for old trucks but I can think of a few reasons.
Neway suspension
Air wipers?
No PS?
Double nut Budds?
No air to air
No air ride cab?
No cruise
No auto slacks
Honestly I’d say if the ‘78 is worth $30 the ‘96 is worth $50 with those extras including a fresh rebuild -
that’s a power steering truck, what’s wrong with the neway I think they make a jam up heavy haul air ride. I don’t mind no cruise or air ride cab. Air wipers, slacks and cac can be replaced. That ‘98 will never have the class of an a model. That’s the sexiest truck kenworth ever built.

I agree with the sex but IME parts availability is key. Stud pilot rims suck too.....you roll through an inspection and you’ve lost a wheel stud since your pre trip......the DOT ain’t maintaining roads like they used to. I tried to put auto slacks on my 359 but they won’t fit. I’ll take an air ride/uni bilt cab all day every day. And finally yes some stuff can be replaced but that costs money and eats into the $20k you think you’re saving
