Idk about the ratcheting one click a day part. And I never said anything about backing up, thats non sense. Most of the time they are great for guys that do less than stellar PTI's or maintance. 95% of the time issues are related to operating angles, and or worn out parts. Still they will not keep up with a guy that is easy on the brakes, but they do Ok. Some for no reason don't hold well at all. I will get murdered for this but, if im going to take the time to check them, Ill just manually adjust them. Some just need replaced. There was nothing wrong with manuals if guys do their job. Lazy people is why we need autos.
