Local company. Well known red trucks. Do fuel, propane, anhydrous and dry bulk. Talked a little with a guy I used to work with where I'm at who now works there. He loves it.

Local and city work is 4 on, 4 off, 12 hour shifts, potential to do up to 70 hours a week if I want regionally and they have winter roads work they can never fill enough seats on (that pays about double what their local work does).

I'm getting a little fed up with being on the road all the time and when he told me his average paycheque for 48 hours a week of work and home every night was the same as my average cheque from this past year, I about fell over.

I'm starting to see the value of "work less; make more" and as time goes by, and my wife complains more and more about me not being at home, I may need a bit of a change. Got to ink a deal on a mortgage before anything serious happens but I'm seriously considering it. I enjoy doing bulk work over flats and definitely want to add liquids to my repitoire.

The pay and hours alone are worth it, but the perks and benefits are mind blowing compared to what I have currently. It doesn't mean much to most, but I value the little things like that when it comes to making me see a reason to stay.

    Ah, come on now.
Like you aren't set in your certain pecker-headish ways on certain things at certain times, in a certain mood and in a certain light.

    Ain't no Innocents here.
