@Ruthless's post about the Hayes this morning got me all nostalgic. These were another BC built truck. Apparently the company shut down in like 1991 but a customer paid up front to have one more built 4 years later. Sounds like there's a 3408 or maybe a 3412 under the hood!!!

Thanks a lot for the tips. Things might move quicker than I first expected depending on return from the big old government and taxes. Might have enough from this year's return and meal allowances to get us over the top on our down payment.

More and more my wife and I talk about this opportunity, the more and more we both really like it. I'm grateful for the experience my current company has given me, but I'm hurting real bad to be around home more, and I'm not going to pass on the opportunity to get what I want. I'm only loyal to a point, but ultimately, my absolute loyalty belongs to my wife and my wife alone. Nothing in this world can overtake that.

What I really like from the fellow I spoke to was the fact they are very flexible for scheduling, and will give you more work whenever you want it. And they have a dry bulk division, so if I ever get bored of hauling fuel, I can go back to what I know I love.

And @snowman_w900, they do propane too, so I might be calling on you in the near future as well.

? I was an Airedale. Were you a Boiler Tech ? I know that the snipes ( no disrespect at all. Everybody has nicknames for the different ratings ) would often work different hours.

Slowpoke KW, Feedman, Tug Toy and 11 others Thank this.
