Joetro. U got drunk. Now ???

yes just the two bolts, but you should be fine like that, might need it tho for a priming after an oil change or if a check valve goes bad and leaks fuel back to the tank

I read a thread regarding this issue, previously. Mr. Haney said he removed the hand primer and drilled the two holes out to 3/8” for better flow, then installed the block off cap.
Any thoughts on this procedure? -
Works great if your running a fass or purflow air separation system with electric motor, other wise you have no way to prime. I did it on 3406C and was very happy. I never did it on my 6NZ
Oxbow Thanks this. -
Just put a block off plate on it. Throw the primer pump in the tool box just in case you ever need it. I've been running it this way for 8 years now, never needed the primer pump.. just fill your fuel filter up when you spin a new one on at service. You dont need a fass or anything like that.
Oxbow, spsauerland and mtoo Thank this. -
I always carried an extra primer pump in the tool box for every cat I ever owned. And an extra fuel shutoff solenoid that the plunger was cut off. And and and and...................lots of good stuff.Last edited: May 9, 2019
