I have a class b license can i make any money in the oil business?

    with what you have, there is plenty of work in the Permian Basin. You can haul fuel with a straight truck, the old industry term for those trucks is 'tankwagon', but for some unknown reason those trucks are now known as a 'bobtail'. I always knew a 'bobtail as a semi-tractor with no trailer attached.
    there are almost a dozen companies here in Midland-Odessa that have those fleets, and nearly all have a sign up 'hiring drivers'.

    Haul water. Up in pa avg wage is 21-23 and its easy work

    Only 70 hours a week though and that's not guaranteed.

    70 hrs a week bouncing on these west Texas lease roads is more than enough for me.
