Plantronics Voyager 104 headset review?

Geez! I just bought the 104 last week. My only complaint so far is that the led light doesn't blink to let you know that it is on and paired to the phone. The reason for this is. I get in and out a lot and take my phone Sometimes. By the time I'm back in the truck the headset will auto shut off. And, I'll forget to pair them back up.

I had a BP 350, and BP replaced it 4 times in 1 year. After the last time I said I'm done. I've been using a $25 one on Amazon that has worked great other than noise canceling not being that great.

 

I highly recommend this one from Amazon. If you have problems just call Amazon for a replacement. You can also listen to music on it. For $20.00 it’s worth a try. Good noise canceling mic. I’m partially deaf, and it’s loud enough for me.

I’ve had my voyager 104 for about 6 months and it just stopped charging as well. Reading the other posts, definitely has to be a defect.

 

Put it in your freezer and totally discharge it. Then try again.

 

I bought my Voyager 104 in May of this year I think. I haven’t had any issues with it not charging or disconnecting from my handset. Been very pleased so far with it. I will say the only nuisance I have encountered is the mic is very sensitive when I call home. Seems to pick up the least bit of background noise (TV, other people talking, etc.).

I have an iPhone 6s and 8, so I don’t know if the phone model has anything to do with disconnecting from BT.

I bought the Plantronics Voyager 104 6 months ago. I have read the reviews and have had great success with mine so far. I was using Blue Tiger Deluxe however they discontinued that model and did like the others. Thinking of purchasing another 104 however thinking Best Buy they have full 2 year replacement warranty includes accidental for 19.99 total cast around 150.00. I can get my truck in that store at around back if I have to have service. Amazon you have to send back and wait. Most Best Buys have this model in their stores for now or if on long get store pick up on your route.. GEW

 

I have had a Legend for probably 3 years now, best one I have ever had, I hate having that band over my head.

 

Just a follow up. My 104 has died after 3 months. Mine will work when plugged up and charging but as soon as you remove the charger, the unit dies and will not power on. Customer service is fighting me on honoring the 6 months warranty.

 

My BP 350 has started to shut itself off. Then it wont reconnect to my Galaxy S9 unless I plug it into power fir 20 seconds or so and reconnect it. It's about 8 years old so it has seen better day . Going to try that Mpow from Amazon and see if I can save 100 bucks this time....
