They have the same sign on US 101 near San Francisco where it's 5 or 6 lanes on each side.

What do you do? Just stop?

The strech by Susanville, it applies to about 3 miles of the switch backs.

And it basically means you need to pay attention to what you're doing.

You're only going up or down that stretch at like 30 anyway.

But my colleague got scared I believe, tried to back down this dirt (mud) driveway or road, and when he saw me, I could tell by his expression, he was thinking #### IT. Could have made it.

I'm sure the wrecker will tell him the same.

That's why our prepass's keep getting turned off out there.

Both my trucks have level 1 stickers from the communist state in the last 120 days. We've done our part, I have the right to complain.

I got it from the horse's mouth on the "not recommended" when I had to go across the AZ 260.

Called the main highway patrol office. And they were totally cool about it. They gave me the word on "It's steep, and windy, but not restricted, so you're ok."

Restricted means just that. You go down one of those, you're asking for it.

As to what @REO6205 was saying, I saw two county roads that feed off of the 395 with plainly marked length restrictions.

Same thing. It says max 65' combo. You're 72'. Well guess what's gonna happen.

Yep that's why I run 395 to Alturas. 139 is not marked with a warning that I have seen south bound. Only north bound. And I have not taken the county 65' limited cut off Cause well I comprehend Engrish.

Finishing a 30 at K Falls. We musta passed by each other right about Susanville

139 is marked south bound 15 miles out of Susanville.

I noticed on them roads, you get bored of the same old way and see this route and it says not recommended, nothing about restrictions and the sign is in a spot you may be able to flip a uturn, you just about have to take that route for safety sake because turning around can get you way past the axles, just be aware you will be in tight quarters in places.

Grasshopper Hill is a nice drive, I once passed two four wheelers up on the top of the hill stuck in the ice and snow, slowed down to ask them if they're alright. They said they're good as they kept spinning their tires between the road and the cliff face. Okay I said and kept going down the other side.

Guess the commies are scared of truckers.

Well winter is over. There's still miles of packed ice and snow on the roads in spots, and the snow is like 5 to 10 feet deep on the side of the road, but, it's over.

Not a cloud in the sky today. 51 in Reno.

Made it all the way from Portland, no chains at the speed limit.

    HAHAHAHAHA
