This one has been making the rounds, haven’t seen it pop here.... it’s a Friday nite, it’s pouring rain outside, I’m fed, she’s watching “her news” down the hall, n I’m here with my big #### spoon trying to get things stirred!

 

Tough to dislike the view

 

For some reason it got a little slow here for a couple days...not that it's affecting me any.

There's two company drivers here and me right now. A couple other trucks they can call on as needed.

But these two yodelheads have been milking the clock for two days. Haven't done anything worthwhile and the dispatcher is wise to them. When offered a load they told him they had no hours because they have been working in the yard all day.

So meanwhile I will have loads to haul and they're running out of reasons to hang out doing nothing.

Hourly yard pay ain't sheit compared to trucking money. I think he's going to teach them the hard way.

Works for me.

 

Welp... they're what 'i' drive anymore, so guess that's a good thing. Sure miss the ole' Petercars, like @wore out 's.

 

Be careful.. .your gonna work yourself into a yob..... Then they gonna start expecting shat.....

I'll just make sure to run my mouth just enough that they don't want me as an employee but still be productive enough that they want to keep me busy as an independent contractor.

Truth be told as long as I keep running loads and keep my hat low I can make a pile of money here. I try not to talk too much to anyone here, especially if they don't wear a shirt with their name stitched into it above the pocket. I only talk regularly with the dispatcher and he's located in another state in another time zone.
