There are a bunch of 2020 trucks in BRF Getting ready to hit the road with all the new logos etc on them. But none are on the road yet because they are having issues linking all the safety BS with the QC....

Nope hes not incorrect. Starting with the 18s there is a sensor on the trucks that will pick up speed limit signs on the side of the road. If you are going over the posted speed limit by 5 or 10mph it will slow you down on its own.

The only thing that's an issue with this is cycling back to bluetooth, because for some reason the radio cycles through the sxm channels very slowly when you use the source button. But I discovered a trick for that as well. Just push the source button once, then turn the volume button to cycle through the different input choices. When you get to bluetooth, push the volume button in. Saves a lot of hassle if you're impatient like me.

Yeah that's another thing. I am NOT a fan of that new logo. Finally caught up with Bill and got my five half-off 1 year anniversary tshirts yesterday and they all have it. *scoff*

Maybe I should go find me an old mid-90s ex JB-hunt International cabover, fix it up, and lease it on with Landstarve. No safety crap, no DPF, and no hood in my way. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll even find one with a Super 10 in it. Not sure if JB ever ran that tranny in their equipment or not.

I had one of the last 10 spds. 46078. Had a Paccar engine 450 that ran like my old 3406 CAT. The automated transmissions are nice but I miss swapping gears.

Ha I knew that would bring you out of the woodwork. But seriously if I were to ever go full-on insane and buy my own truck that's probably who I would lease on with. But think about it. Pulling for Landstar is like a Choose Your Own Adventure book and if you insist on choosing the Path to Poverty, Landstar will happily honor your choice.

Pull up Netflix if you need a reason for popcorn. Honestly I never feel like popcorn needs a reason. It's fantastic on it's own. I don't have anything to say that won't get me in trouble.
