We lost a darn good kid to the pipeline a few years ago. I told him to avoid all those trappings. Keep your truck you have and save every penny you can. After the pipeline moves on you can come back and be setting pretty. He was 20, if he could save what he was making then come back to us and have a steady gig he’d be ahead of most people.

I'm glad I had some strong role models in my younger years. I'd have (and still would) love to have a jacked up Denali w/ deleted and chipped Duramax but the back seats aren't so comfortable to sleep in. Plus they don't have a shower.cke, BigBob410, Slowpoke KW and 18 others Thank this.

Done them before? I've got plenty of tips if you are looking for some, mostly from experience of something going wrong. Aside from getting everything set up and the basic unloading procedure, I'm entirely self-taught, with a little help from reading posts in the tank/pneumatic section here.
I actually had a new problem this past week. Unloading into the bin I clogged up a few weeks ago in Williston, was having a tank pressure loss I couldn't find that was causing drops that clogged the line with the lime. Checked all the connections several times, not a single leak anywhere.
Asked after I finished unloading inside if they got their dust collector serviced since it was clogged, they said yeah, had it fully cleaned, service and all the filter bags changed. The thing was sucking so hard, it was pulling pressure out of my tank... at 1100 rpm.
In the words of Ray Lee Ermey: "...suck a golf ball through a garden hose!"cke, BigBob410, Slowpoke KW and 18 others Thank this. -
No thanks. I wouldn't even buy one for myself lol. I've bought 2 brand new vehicles in my life and when this new one I have now is worn out, look out scrap yards cause I'm coming for your old square body Chevys!cke, BigBob410, Slowpoke KW and 18 others Thank this.

Money, sadly, is an area where few driver's seem to be able to practice any prudence.... I've always been really good with it, and I think a lot of that is because I didn't have any growing up.... A Vermont dairy farmers son, 'nuff said. Pulled a 180° and banked, banked, banked every time I could. Still do.cke, BigBob410, Slowpoke KW and 19 others Thank this.
