Loves truck stop clean showers ????

OH GOD!!

 

Some of these truck stops you are lucky to get warm water when taking a shower. That is the same "warm water" they use to wash their towels. You need hot water and bleach to disinfect. Even after using both that still leaves the thought about the last guy who used that towel.

 

Don't stay at hotels, I have a "bed bug free" sleeper. Don't swim much, but if I did I won't have a problem with pools. "No gaskets?" Make your own.

 

I think there's an acceptable level of risk in this world. And they do wash the towels between uses. Most of them I'm sure. Point is...i think needing your own towel and being grossed out by the thought of using the truck stop towel is all in your head. You're not likely going to get a disease. You will be just fine. Which is why I think people who refuse to use a truck stop towel because they are perceived as icky.. as a bunch of princesses. To be fair; if the truck stop is indeed caught not washing them, which I'm sure is a health code violation, they should face whatever consequence, same as if a restaurant has a dirty kitchen or whatever.

I agree with some of what you say. But you are relying on the gov. to " catch them if there is a health issue" have you noticed the gov. Comes " AFTER" the fact?
Also if a truck stop has no command sense to not use a towel to wipe the floor what makes you think they are doing " the right thing?" I would believe my eyes before trusting someone else's work ethics.
