True. Just guess handle it like anything. Homework, and luck of the draw. And do just that handle like a business. Pay yourself as a driver and rathole the rest so if and when you're down work sliw whatever. You can still make them payments. Treat as if a loan. And the way you do or should do with everything in life.

This week is down the drain. Got a load that picked up in schuyler,ne. But its been flooding in this area bad. So had to run 100+ miles out of route to get around. Once here i noticed this knocking sound then a hard grinding. Pop open the hood. I can here the knocking coming from the engine. But the grinding only happens when im driving. So breakdown said to park it until Monday. Thats when kenworth here opens.

That mess in Nebraska ain't no joke! I was supposed to pickup in Fremont today but the town is totally cut off.

To get here i had to take 281N 91E then turn south in Lindsey but missed that turn. So stayed on 91 to 81S onto 30E. 81s of Columbus is still close.

Well a lot played into it but Iam done at wfx not making enough miles for me. This is a ok company that I don’t think needs bad mouthed. But Lauren my dispatcher was awesome, load planning at times felt more like a click and drop assignment but kept rolling somewhat most of the time. I fell this was a glorious company driver position that had the dream dangled I. Front of me to own a truck and make money tell I’d do. My truck was picked up at my house this last week with no notice of someone coming.
Pros- nice equipment, friendly office staff, on Time hometime
Cons- keeping good flatbed equipment from swaps and drop and hooks, kept running to a point to us my hours in a week, being a LP that’s really just a company guy
