I haven’t started yet, I was told I need to get the CLP and they know my status in the USA and said it should be no problem. With Mexico Canada and the USA having the same laws they informed me they have a lot of Mexican individuals that have had the same thing done but I didn’t hear anything about north of the boarder so I came here to pick some brains before I try again.
I enjoy concrete answers and I didn’t get one. -
I suggested going to an office not too far from you where the workers are friendly and can give you the answers you need. Don't get your feathers ruffled.Dan.S Thanks this.

Competence is a hard thing to find, I’ll need a truck load of patience to get this done that’s for sure.

Lord, give me patience; and give it to me right now!not4hire Thanks this.

Maybe your attitude could change. I'm sure that will help you tremendously.
You were given a couple suggestions. You might want to try them before getting all annoyed.Dan.S Thanks this. -
Thanks mom. But I’m old enough to know how to handle myself in public.

What is said on a forum and done in public are two different things. Remember that.
Have a nice day. Mom. -
IF you are not a dual citizen, you have to get a international license possibly even counter signed by Texas for no more than one year. You keep the original Canadian whatever class it is.
Trying to learn to drive on a CDL A or B permit (Or motorcycle permit etc) is a situation so high up, you will need a Powwow with the heap big diploma room people in the DMV Teepee.
