Made the 2 stops delivery yesterday morning.
Deadheaded me Dow here to jurupa terminal. Dm says he thinks there's more loads here.
Got here at 2000 and place is a big cluster@#$%.
Ended up redtagging my empty due to license ate holder breaking off. Shops are closed when I got here.
Sat all day today without any load offers
If I got up early today I could have made it to NASCAR race but wasn't feeling that great with this headache

I'm headed that way also.
I put off my delivery from Sunday in the late afternoon until Monday morning. The delivery window allowed for that.
Thought it would be better to get there Monday morning with good hours, rather than Sunday afternoon with no load out and low hours. Not to mention, I would probably have had to drive 40 some miles to Ontario for a parking space and spend a bunch of money.

 

If you get 1500 gallons of fuel at T/A Petro this month then in April you’ll be Gear 4 under their new point system. Then every time you fuel 60+ gallons in April you’ll get a credit that can be used for a shower, meal or free parking spot.

 

Got a 34 reset from sitting all day.
Dl said because it was s unday that there was no loads lol.
Pick up a load sitting in the terminal delivering at 1200 in pomona ca.
Then pick up in fontana ca that goes to Lebanon or.
Both have no appt times. So will see what happens when I go pick it up.

 

Shipper said my appt was at 10 pm tonite.
Car finally co firmed. Sent a delivery appt for anytime b4 minute on 20th in Lebanon or.
So gonna go puck it up a d come back here for my ten at the terminal.
Told dl no more accepting loads u.less they have appt times. Second time

 

I guess I was right about not delivering until Monday.
This morning I had a load offer on mac 30. Pick up in Chino at 1400 and deliver tomorrow morning to Lowe's in Las Vegas.
So I waited a bit before leaving this morning so I would not get there too early.
Almost cut it too short because I had to wait nearly an hour for an mt, then it was 1350 when I got to that pickup.
I get in there and the girl said to get there an hour or so early next time. I was on time for the pickup but the shift goes home at 1530. If they could not have gotten me loaded by then I would have had to wait until 1630 for the next shift. Live and learn... If picking up at the Lowe's DC in Chino, get there early if possible.

 

I was sent a pplan last night. I did not like it.
Pick up today (the 19th) at Clearwater Paper in N. Las Vegas and deliver to an Albertson's DC tomorrow at 1800 for a live unload in Irvine, CA. A whole 280 miles.
Since it would have taken too long to list all the reasons why I did not want the load on the mac 9, I simply ignored it.

This morning as I woke up a new, and better, one was sent.
Pick up in Cedar City, UT by anytime tomorrow and deliver on the 22nd at 1000 in the Portland, OR area. A nice, light 1100 mile run, and nowhere near SoCal.

 

Tulare ca at the loves.
Delivered the load to Lowes last night. Had a 1830 appt. Didn't start till 1930 and ended around 2200.
Spent 20.minutes to find parking at the store neasrby with no luck.so had to.line 5 to dunnigan ca
Pilot was full so parked at the next exit north for the night.
Got a load that picks up in Sacramento ca going to perris ca.
Ran to.pilot to use the restroom and finish my 10.
On the way to pickup a lady rear ended me. Only bent left portion of dot bumper.
Totalled her car. Glad no-one was hurt. Never found out what made her hit me. Didn't see her till I felt the impact and saw her spinning into the mediam.
Picked up the loaded trailer to find a air leak in the system that puts air in the trailer tires.
Ran to lathrop terminal to get it fixed. 15 minutes later back on the road.
Ran here since it's my fuel stop and wouldn't be able to make delivery now due to accident. Have all day tomorrow to get it there.

 

You have had quite a time of it. I'm glad no one was hurt in the accident.

I'm at the TA in Troutdale, OR. I got here at around 1400 yesterday and my next load does not pick up until 1500 tomorrow in Lebanon at Lowe's. Guess I'll be asking for some layover pay this time.

 

Woke up at the loves in corning ca this morning to a swollen and painful uvula.
Tried googling nearest Kaiser with my stupid phone with no luck. Called Kaiser and said they need to give me a new medical record number for north Cali.
Asked why then hanged up.
Called dm and said I needed a load down there so I can get to an urgent care.
Picked up a load in Sacramento that delivers tomorrow anytime in sante fe sprimgs.
Drive here to loves in Tulare ca.
Have 5 hrs on 70 for tomorrow's 180 mile trip
Throat seems a bit better. Had no issues eating. Had just coffee to drink most of today. Will see tomorrow it feels.
My mom thinks I burned it last nite with my burnt dinner from dennys lol. Was pretty hot
