Drivers don't look like drivers anymore

Back in the civilized world after a week at the ranch. It was glorious...utter silence from man-made machines and zero light pollution at night. No cell service, no internet, nothing but mountains, desert mesas and the river. Views 20 miles into Mexico past the Rio Grande and temps in the low 70s.

On the way home, I went through Big Bend National Park and the Dinosaur exhibit was open after a redesign. Had to explain to Maybelline that the TRex arm bone was not there for her to bite, bury or drag to the pick-up.

Nice — a long time ago in another life, my cousin and I drifted through Marfa and Fort Davis for a brief period working ranches — real pretty country from what I remember.

 

It's gorgeous country and I get homesick a few times a year. My soul lives out there so I try to get back as often as possible. We have Border Patrol agents renting the main house, so I stay in a cabin up on Chinati Mountain. It's like stepping back in time.

What they look like may not be what they are:

I dont believe there is such a thing as transgender, only really confused individuals. If you were born male your a males all the surgery in the world is not going to change your chromosomes, they will be how ever you were born.
