roshea Thanks this. -
I saw their delivery program advertised. Talked up how you could make like $300,000 a year owning so many vans and they’d help people buy everything. Problem is if you did the math assuming all the vans ran everyday and no maintenance, etc you made very little for taking so much risk. IMO. My opinion is if there was real money to be made owning the vans amazon would just own the vans. This is similar to a Lowe’s program I looked into. After paying a helper, renting or buying a straight truck, etc you might make $600 a week. Again if there was money in it Lowe’s would just own the truck. Anyway... I’d like to see the rate per mile on those amazon loads. Their CEO is worth 1/10th of a TRILLION dollars and you don’t get that kind of cash being stupid. From what I have seen of amazon they are your typical corporation. It’s all about the company and being a team player and the customer etc. Translation? Lots of hours, little money and you’re expendable .

You have valid points, Amazon as a whole prefers to take on as little risk as possible which is why they don't own the Tractors and prefer to let us run the freight for them, makes sense for them
