Passed one on M14, he is sitting there just looking for something to do and most of the line of cars were going about 85. I was stuck behind some stupid hotshot guy doing 50.

Must be a Detroit/Ann Arbor thing. Here I set the cruise to 71 and pass litterly everyone.

Yeah up there you guys take it easy. I was on 94 going into Detroit, was passed by a group with a cop in tow, they were going 75 all the way to 75, I could see the cop got off on Livernois. On the way out, I was passed by a Canadian truck, he was so frustrated going through that M10/I96 mess that the first chance he had, he went into the left lane and just put the hammer down, he had to have that truck at 80 when he passed everyone.ZVar Thanks this.

“But but officer, everyone else was doing it.”

I used to drive from ann arbor to Dearborn when I was working, every day at 6am I had to deal with someone who almost ended up behind me wanting me to move out if his way, he was driving a Michigan State Police car in uniform and never seemed to care what others were doing, he wanted to get to where he was going.

This was I-96 east of Lansing. He got lucky the cops were out about 3 miles down the road. Love those giant old school sirens they got.

I live in Detroit and have taken US23 down to Toledo, it's easily driveable by truck and is in good shape as far as Michigan roads are concerned.
-
Yea it was no biggie. I just looked at my map and saw a some jig jags and thought it might be one of those US highways with a bunch of stop lights etc

I got a pretty petty ticket in MI last November. Got popped for being in the left lane. When I explained that I was passing a very slow RV that was camped in the middle and I didnt want to unsafely pass on the right, he told me it was his opinion that I wouldnt of needed to do that if I wasnt speeding. I was going 68.

You should have told him that it says trucks use right 2 lanes and not- no trucks in left lane.motocross25 and McCauley Thank this.
