That brings up another good tip for @KillingTime

Always carry gorilla tape for hoses and quick steel or some epoxy of some type for the tees/product pipe. Oh and extra gaskets and maybe an extra ear for the fittings. Stuff breaks and it’s no big deal as long as you’ve got stuff to fix it.

A cut soda can wrapped around with duct tape works a surprisingly long time on a discharge pipe. 7 or 8 loads of sand at least. It wears well.

 

Between loads I tinkered with my V series Case. Thought I might take it to the show this year, or at least get it running non the less. Don’t look bad for 78 yrs old lol. Flathead Red Seal.

 

@IH Truck Guy 1961 International Harvester B160. 304 V8 / 4spd / 2spd. All original with only one gauge that didn’t work.

I did and they seem to work out great, but only got about a thousand miles on em
