I know there have been a lot of questions about getting miles. JCT has a program for solo and team drivers, that if you have an incident free quarter with 35,000 for solo, and 45,000 mile for team, they pay you a .02 cents a mile bonus. It has been hinted here (just joking) that my wife and I are slackers. We have over 70,000 miles for the first quarter, Jan to Mar.
That,s an extra $900.00 in our pocket. Yay, I can pay uncle barrack

Wal-Mart in Winter Haven took too long to unload me on Friday, so I could not make my second stop in Arcadia on time. They had to reschedule me for Saturday morning, and they offered to pay me layover time. WoW that is great. Didn't ask how much, don't care.

LMB,
Great thread and was curious if you could post some inside pics of your truck. Also, when will you be getting a new cascadia?

LMB if you decided a year or 3 years from now to change trucks, how exactly does that work? Tell JCT in advance what kind of truck you wanted or just pull in and choose what ever is available at that time? thx
However, you would be starting over on lease payments again
but
I'm sure your making good money running team, DRIVE SAFE. -
I just was discussing the truck issue with my wife. I am thinking about making some mechanical modifications to this truck, for better fuel millage, and just runing the wheels off it. I like this truck. It has the room we need for the two of us

LMB can you answer these questions please?
Thank you!

. paying on a used truck for 90 days and no warranty. What if someting breaks on me during those days? i know im under the probation period. But being broke down for something you had no control over? also all that money going to a truck your not going to keep? will the side note transfer over? miles paid on?
2. I alsways ask the JCT drivers when i meet them on the road (lol none of them ever have their radio on, gota catch them at a fuel pump) I always ask tell me something bad about JCT only thing i can hear is dont let the yard work on your truck. bad repairs, over priced, replace too many parts that do not need replacing.
3. picking a used truck. will they give the repair sheet on those vehicles? Maintenance sheets showing if the preivious drivers took care of it?
4. the company i work for now wants us to be slow to conserve fuel. will JCT push us to go faster? or allow us to work on fuel?
And all the drivers taht started a few months ago how is life? are you happy with your choice to change? Making the money you expected? happy with your truck? service from JCT?
Thanks to your help in helping me decide to leap or stay on the cliff.
