Hey can anyone help me out? I have a 2014 w900. I got a yellow check engine light and took it to a mechanic who checked the temp sensor the computer and the harness and didn’t find anything to cause that light. Does anyone have any ideas what else it may be????
Oh what can it be.........

Like what? They put it on a laptop got the code and checked the temp sensor harness and checked and rest the computer. It’s a yellow check engine light. It doesn’t over heat because the fan turns on. The temp is at 180

For starters what engine? Either engine only has like 12 temp sensors, which one? Fault codes?
By your response I would guess engine coolant temp...........still need to know what fault code your chasing. Has it come back since it was diagnosed?Tombstone69 and spsauerland Thank this. -
Fault code 1398

They checked and replaced the engine temp sensor

Judging by his picture it is a 2011-2019 W900L so ISX15 or X15.

They never fixed it. What they wanted to do was swap out the computer to see if that changed anything, that would take two days. So I took my truck and will search another place

1398, not finding it in Cummins Fault code manual.
Goodysnap Thanks this.
