If the fuel neck is up under the trailer, then trying to fill it with a portable can wont do you any good either.
Also if the fill hole is hiding under the trailer. the easier thingt to do is to remount the tank so the neck can be easily filled.25(2)+2 Thanks this. -
HoneyBadger67, Tombstone69, lovesthedrive and 4 others Thank this.

It's more loves, pilot, flying j, Petro or ta points fueling it remember. You also might get someone mad when you pull up just enough to fuel the reefer and they have been waiting a while. Also if reefer is in stop/start it should last ages
lovesthedrive and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
Why hasn't anyone mentioned the fact that 5 gallons is only 1/10 of a 50-gallon tank?
It's a proverbial "drop in the bucket."
Unless you're already pretty close to 3/4 tank, 5 gallons probably won't help much. Also, imagine trying to carefully fill a can with a fast truck stop diesel pump. Better have a change of clothes ready...bottomdumpin Thanks this. -

I'm amazed that no one has invented a setup where you can plug you're reefer into the truck tank. I guess then you wouldn't be able to tell the receiver your out of fuel, lol.
