What we did on a unit a while ago was used a propane "tiger torch" to heat soak the upper plate for 20 minutes then dropped ice cubes into the pin cup and we had made a forked bar to twist the pin in the pocket and put the blocks and jack under to push up. This was on an Aspen 65 ton west coast 9 axle where the last owner/operator had not moved the pin in two years including 2 Canadian winters. He always stacked up leaving the pin "long". It took the shop crew 4 hours to get it out and 3 hours to clean the pin and pockets.

I'm pretty sure this one hasn't moved in 14 years...
You just gave me a idea. I got a 5 gal bucket cut down to about 5" high in the freezer full a water.
Got a can off Old Mill (I ain't sacrificing good beer)
Stood up in the middle to make me a hole.
Plan is to put that underneath around the kingpin so I can still jack on it with timbers. And heat the sleeve from the top.

The #### thing is still standing on the pin with the jack fiddle string tight, so maybe it'll come loose by morning.
    One can dream right. LOL

I wouldn't clean it. If you did you'd never find what your looking for. Just build a new one.

It’s a KayDubyah, 680... it’s a nice truck as far as Aeros go... save for the Paccar motor and the Eaton Ultrashift.

Bobtailed down to San Diego and doing a power only load up to Seattle... easy. It’s for a rigging company so... bunch of crapola every which way on the deck of a 48 step... checked their securement and rolled...

Make @Czar_Zero territory tomorrow night and then Napavine on Sunday... :)
