Because I can afford to invest in it. Being a female has a lot to do with it. We’re often taken advantage of due to lack of knowledge.

How is that compelling? If you were supposed to work one day and you call your boss and he tells you no don’t show up. Are you going to question it or just go on with your life? I’m pretty sure that you will want to know what’s happening ( reasoning for this change). There’s zero reasoning in just no. I just said do not post just NO. No does not provide reasoning... Just saying

What I believe ridgeline is saying is, it’s not about sex, race or anything else. You don’t know what you don’t know.
If you have never worked on a car before would you go out buy a building and tools, and open shop tomorrow with no clue what you’re doing?

Understood, which is why I said I’m willing to learn the business. I need to know how to learn it though. Resources available etc. Again I am Analyst so I need to have a clear understanding of things before diving in.

There is a O/O section on TTR also a search bar in the upper right corner. I never have learned much from reading only. I have always had to do,before I could understand what I read.

Thanks! I’ve been reading them...unfortunately there is minimal consistency from people I am speaking to directly. For example, simple questions like what’s the difference between a Cascadia, Proliner, Volvo get complicated. Appropriate mileage. Things to look for in regards to maintenance. How much a person profited last month (how do you not know this?) Record keeling is an absolute must. I love Finance so I can handle that side of the business

First suggestion don’t do lease purchase!! Very, very few people succeed the deck is generally stacked against you. Second, suggestion is to learn the basics of how to drive and what it takes to do the job. Don’t get the cart before the horse. Third, do the jobs most others don’t want. This is where you’ll find the money.

    Derailed and Oxbow Thank this.
