Thank you! How can I learn the logistics side of the business?
-
How is that compelling? If you were supposed to work one day and you call your boss and he tells you no don’t show up. Are you going to question it or just go on with your life? I’m pretty sure that you will want to know what’s happening ( reasoning for this change). There’s zero reasoning in just no. I just said do not post just NO. No does not provide reasoning... Just saying

If you have never worked on a car before would you go out buy a building and tools, and open shop tomorrow with no clue what you’re doing? -
Understood, which is why I said I’m willing to learn the business. I need to know how to learn it though. Resources available etc. Again I am Analyst so I need to have a clear understanding of things before diving in.

Thanks! I’ve been reading them...unfortunately there is minimal consistency from people I am speaking to directly. For example, simple questions like what’s the difference between a Cascadia, Proliner, Volvo get complicated. Appropriate mileage. Things to look for in regards to maintenance. How much a person profited last month (how do you not know this?) Record keeling is an absolute must. I love Finance so I can handle that side of the business
Humblepie Thanks this. -
First suggestion don’t do lease purchase!! Very, very few people succeed the deck is generally stacked against you. Second, suggestion is to learn the basics of how to drive and what it takes to do the job. Don’t get the cart before the horse. Third, do the jobs most others don’t want. This is where you’ll find the money.
