The first time I went into China I took a train from Hong Kong to Guangzhou in 1984. I needed to use the restroom and discovered that the "toilet" was a hole in the floor, looking down at the tracks, with a nice updraft. Who needs toilet paper? There's a bucket of water with a ladle?

When I win the 750 million dollar Powerball on Wednesday, I'm going to buy out all the properties adjacent to tucker's, and begin construction of the "Davetro" super truck stop and animal refuge.

I understand one railroad in China has been built to airline standards to provide a atmosphere to ordinary people not used to mountains that high up. I already know that I am not stable at 13000 feet MSL. but China has done some interesting things with the things they have dared to do. I have a little bit of grudging respect for them.
The powerball stuff is getting to be interesting, we will see how it goes I dont know about you all, but those pots are getting pretty fat fairly often.
Getting somewhat close to topic, we expect a frontal passage anytime now through tonight. It has been somewhat noisy but not something to worry about so far. Maybe later on this afternoon it will cook up a pretty good storm line by 4 PM if it hasnt built one already.
Arkansas storms are two varieties. Noisy and OMFG. The noisy ones are a irritant and the other kind is when you have the urge to run down the street away from the monster consuming your valley. (Tornado) Ive seen that kind of destruction many times here and it makes me unhappy. Where we are however, the last two that destroyed the area, when everyone rebuilt, they built in Grissoms and other EF5 rated storm shelters that will withstand the next one. I might still have some pictures of the few I have poured with the concrete outfit in the area. Although the 4 that I have done was not affected yet.tucker, Lepton1 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
