Yeah Binghamton. Do you know what time they open?

 

You know... it's not very often that I get sent to a receiver that has a truck stop right next door. But wouldn't it be just my luck that when I do, I don't have the hours to get to that truck stop. I'm spending the night at the rest area on NY-17 across from Tioga Downs with 19 minutes left on my 70. I'm half tempted to go do some drankin' and gamblin'.

 

Only thing ever happened when I smiled was the mirror cracking.

 

@Goobr54 Next time you catch a load out of Eau Claire or Minn. heading down 35 take the time to stop at the Ankeny Diner.

About a block off 35 maybe 6 miles North of 80, attached to a Ramada but plenty of room to get your truck in the lot.

They have a burger here with your namesake, a Goober Burger!

Cheeseburger with a fried egg and peanut butter. It actually wasn't to bad.

 

Last I knew 7 am. I've spent the
night there with 10 am appts and they would knock on my door at 7 am and I'd get right in.

I left Millis almost 2 years ago and just came back a month ago. It could have changed but most of these places generally stay the same.

 

How did your morning go there?

 

I wish all of my deliveries were that easy. Loved the acres of parking lot they have. Got there a little after 7. All the doors had their delivery trucks in them getting ready for the day. Guy came out and told me to take the first door that came empty and I was done by 9. Then just as I predicted, my reload was out of Budweiser. Going to Colonial Heights, VA. Never been there but I'm pretty sure this is the place where my trainer tore a door off a trailer right before I got on his truck. So it should be fun. It's also due at 0900 and I'm currently in Scranton so that ain't happening.

 

Thought I was gonna get in there tomorrow but looks like Wed morning now. No worries we’ll keep in touch. Gotta hit up Boscobel, WI tomorrow afternoon.

 

Ya well after sitting in Menomonie Wisc from 0730 till 1330 waiting for a load this morning I'm guessing Richfield isnt in my plans till at earliest Thursday. Grabbrd a load out of Arcadia Wisc going 1100 miles down to Mesquite TX. Drop and hook on both ends. Def didnt expect that after waiting till 1330 for a load lol
