Normally in winter there is a blanket of snow across the septic system that keeps it from freezing. Alas this winter was rain for precip followed with deep freeze. Thus we didnt have the insulating snow cover. This is only the second year it has ever frozen up since we built it in 2004.gentleroger, Lepton1 and Blu_Ogre Thank this.
