Messes up my eyes again this weekend. Delivered my load Sunday morning.....been hanging out in a dark room since.

Gonna give it another go in the morning.

 

How?

 

Not sure....seems I do it on a regular basis. Maybe from polishing last week. Maybe from the smoke off of seasoning the new griddle...they started hurting shortly after that. I've wore contacts for 40 years so the reaction time of my eyes is real slow.

 

Drove 818 miles last night just to find out this morning that my appointment is for tomrrow.

Brokers man.

With that being said luckily for a nice parking lot next to a Buffalo Wild Wings down the street

Ha! No, I have them off anyway, and they weren't quite as loud as I think they should be, so I thought I would take them apart and clean the bugs out of them.

Put the shop air to them and they sound good now!

 

Well, that sure didn't take long. A couple hours after sending the email, I get a phone call from the recruiter and I'm scheduled for a road test at noon on Saturday (!). Now I just need to make sure I can get back in time and not get screwed. Oh well, the e-nanny might mysteriously stop working.

Current opportunity is running B-trains out west for dry bulk (dispatched from the Brandon terminal no less, but report to Winnipeg terminal). Should be a good way to build up some cash over the summer and apply for any city fuel hauling positions that open up.
