Job Updates!!!!

I worked there back in 14 , Crane had a yard. It's a great company. I just got home sick and we were slow in start of 15.

 

Are there still jobs making over 100k ? making 22 an hr. Those wages are the kind of driving jobs Monday thru Friday

 

I've seen ads for crude in NM for 120k a year, not sure how legitimate.

 

How many of you work for an higher $25+ hourly wage and get perdiem?

 

I been waiting for everyone to tell me how great of money they make. I'm not saying what I do. I drive a company truck, start at 7 get off at 5 6days and paid per diem, might drive 50miles or 300 a day. Bring home 10k a month after taxes and insurance. There is money out there, not always easy to find but it's there.

 

Ok, I’ll play. I’ve received and offered info in the past, but I won’t mention the company this time.

I operate a vac truck, get $28 an hour with O/T, plus room and board. 80-90 hrs a week. So many weeks on, and so many weeks off, as t’s not a go home every night job.

Board is my own room and cafeteria-style meals; all-you-want. It’s the best job I’ve had during my almost 6 year CDL-A career, all of it in the oilfield.

I’ve been offered other jobs that pay over $100k a year, for just 2 years min. of experience.

You just gotta look, and by looking it doesn’t mean just checking the Internet.

May 2013 I had a freshly issued CDL-A. I did days of reading on this forum and I still remember a good thread started by RockDoctor that convinced me I did not need OTR time to break into the oil field.

I then went out and personally knocked on doors, first in the Utica for a week, but just one day in the Eagle Ford till I found a trucking company open to hiring me. That was Movac Service Co. in Kenedy, TX. Paid $20 / hr. after 3 mo.

I drove to where the jobs were, so like the old saying goes: if it’s too easy, everybody would be doing it.

 

The Secret companies? you cant say were you make it? Ok I will tell you I made just shy of 100K Im home ever other night and when Im out of town I take my 10 off in a hotel. I do more then drive a truck I unload the trailer too. there are senior drivers that made around 125 k last year. I work at Frito Lay

 

I work oilfield, stay in a camper or rent a house. I been here so long I moved family here. Paid 28hr overtime and perdiem.

 

Why post if you aren't going to give any clue as to what you do? Just bragging?

I made $115k last year fracing, but I worked my ### off for it.

 

My guys all break six figures but they work for it. Well I got one guy that doesn't but he's a lazy one and ok with it. I'm cool with it because he doesn't break anything.
