I work out of Denver and ive never have seen them run that fast. I did see one in the ditch last year on 76 by fort morgan. They do pass me but 72 is more believable

 

We have CNG trucks in are Fleet and they are the worst! the volvos are so herky jerky. I like the Volvo Diesels that we have but not CNG

 

They're fleet is governed at 75. Like always ,some trucks run a bit faster some a bit slower . I passed one in Az just yesterday that was going 78mph

There was a time when they had no governors at all . They'd be cruising at 80-85 mph on I-40 in Az and Nm
