How to become a broker?

Here is step by step....why not to fantasize about it?
I found this on Amazon for Kindle.
It takes 2 hours of listening, if bought as an audio book.

 

Because once you hear this dude's ######## you'll subconsciously think at least some part of it is true. They say there are no dangerous ideas... and that's true if you know the subject. If you don't know the subject you end up a conspiracy theorist lol.

 

How many that start are still in it a year later? Other than those that work at the large brokerages where all they do is recite a spiel.

 

You've been a driver for 10 years and don't know what it takes to be a broker?

1) Lie.
2) Cheat.
3) Steal.
4) Lie.

 

The big brokerages have the highest turnover of all. Anyone know what would make cold calling harder than it already is? Having 75% of the customers that ship more than 50 loads a year either already have an account or hate your guts. That would make it harder. Much harder.

 

Just thinking of all those that start with high hopes and end up with a night job at burger king to survive.

 

Are you a hot chick? If so that would help. If your not then try to get to know business owners via a beer or a golf trip. You can sign up with good broker outfits.

 

Ive done both. Life is so easy driving a truck.

Definitely get that feeling sometimes, I work at a top 5 brokerage. Tons of good shippers have been called to death by idiot college kids we hire.
