Hello,
My friend just got his AZ license recently and he got his first job with a small company. His boss wants him to go to Texas on his first run alone, what do you guys think?

Not long ago i did the same thing. It’s easy as long as you have common sense.

That's a good run to make as a starter.

Texas? WHOO HOO> HOT DIGGITY.
Get going yer late.
God help you on I-35.
In my early years dispatch learned to get me out of Lancaster PA or roughly. I would pull in to some of the best places that don't fit a semi for a meal with the Amish cooking. I would spend hours eating rather than being on time when I was young.
Arkansas and Dallas did happen at some point in the 90's and I had some good luck here. Just did not think that I would make a home here of all places. All in all Ive been.. pretty happy within a limited range of possibilites here.
Even now I am putting together a trip to the Amish Country and the Atlantic Ocean. You can go away from home but home never leaves you.Canadianhauler21 Thanks this. -
Nice run depending on what part of Canada he’s leaving from. It’s still March. Weather can still be tricky!

I wonder if your friend knows anything about the paperwork n stuff required to cross the border. If he does than I'd say that's a pretty sick route, lots of miles that way.
