Buddy of mine booked a load out of cleveland. Drove 160 miles to pickup what he thought was a legal load going to KC. For $4200 got there and it was 13.5 wide.......Um that ain't legal bud ! So he is doing the deadhead of shame back to the barn !

 

Cons to an acert in an 06 hood?

Meaning what exactly?

 

They have issues with the vva/jake housings cracking, the studs breaking unless updated. Precooler wire harness getting fried unless rerouted. Studs breaking on top turbo. Headgasket issues if not done almost perfectly. If it has alot of miles I would check the living.hell out of it.

 

Ahhh. I haven't looked at it yet just saw that it was an 06 with a 425 cat so I figured it was an accert

 

06 with a 425 doesn't sound right to me. I would ask for serial number prefix of engine to find out what it has.
