Can you be fired for bending a mudflap?

Fired from a maga ....yes. Would I tell ? Probably not

 

I did that a while back and no report was made. At my next service it was replaced without a word being said.

Maybe you can bend it back.

 

Ya, just hit the pole in the opposite direction, should do it.

 

You could try to wipe it with laquer thinner and a rag. Walmart sells them or probably any auto parts store.

Wipe gently so you don't remove the original paint, if you try to do this.
