Spend about an hour on your pretrip, point out everything to the tester,he or she will be so dazzled by your knowledge of trucks, they won't even notice how you drive. Get a good night's sleep and don't stress, you'll be fine.
Road test tomorrow, any tips?

Or have a slop box manual in reverse where it should be first. Had a old 73 transtar that liked to do that. -2 points.

I have the priveledge of conducting all of the road tests for new hires at my company. The biggest factor in a road test is that the testees (not testes) not scare the crap out of me. If you scare me so bad that I have to drive back to the yard, you've failed the road test.
BigDog Trucker, magoo68, x1Heavy and 1 other person Thank this. -
My tip would be...If you can get it up on 9 wheels on a corner, ala Joie Chitwood, that will impress an examiner.
You'd probably fail the test though..
