In that terminal, it goes 22.58, 24.13, 25.68, 28.83 for each step respectively. Road drivers see .5477, .5887, .6272, .6832 respectively.

Keep in mind at FXF, you will most likely be driving and working the dock esp at the larger terminals and hubs. Bottom runs at the terminal I was out of was: drive 40 minutes to the break, work the dock 8 hours, and then drive 40 miles back to your home-20. XPO runs their linehaul operations very similar to FXF as well.
JReding Thanks this. -
We’re you in the Chicagoland area by chance?
-
I know of an FXF location elsewhere that's like that. The bottom drivers are essentially dockworkers who get to drive about 60 miles a night.JReding Thanks this.

Just driving to their dock job. Fortunately, they are paid at their full hourly rate for the dock work.jmz Thanks this.

I believe estes starts at .59/mile for schedule drivers and .61/mile for extra board. Tops out at .675/mile for schedule and .696/mile for extra board. It takes 3 years to top out.
Renegade0311 and Radman Thank this. -
Saia depends on terminal. If it’s busy and they need drivers and you have linehaul or similar experience they will start you off at top rate at .66cpm. I don’t know starting rate. I think it’s .59cpm and a 2 year progression I think. We are getting a raise here in Jun or July should be at .68cpm top out. No dock work on linehaul or its very rare you jump on a forklift.
Renegade0311 Thanks this. -
But the cameras on drivers and other draconian rules
-
Such as? Saia is always hiring in my area and they offer $5,000 sign on bonus .

I’ve adapted and overcome to the cameras. It doesn’t really bother me. Also I don’t live in fear on the camera getting me fired. I have a lot of experience, a clean CDL, and live in a area where drivers are needed everywhere. Saia knows this here. They don’t tempt fate here with drivers unless you absolutely do something to purposely get you fired. Like an example we had a driver vandalized a fuel pump on purpose and confessed. Saia fired him. He got a job at Big Estes in less then a week. This happened a month ago or so.
Getting fired by a camera doesn’t blemish your CDL just maybe get questioned by the next employer. Maybe a company like Walmart or OD might not call you. When I got fired from US Foods for the camera Reddaway jumped all over me cause my experience and clean CDL. I dropped a app and 4 hours later got a call for a interview. I was also hired in less then a week. Worked there for 6 years and left on good terms. Also I did get a call from Conway freight now known as XPO but I took the first company that called.
Don’t have the cell in your hand, tailgate, and don’t roll stop signs with camera triggered and you’ll have no problems. Things you shouldn’t do anyways.McUzi, speedyk, Fuelinmyveins and 2 others Thank this.
